History of 5Crests
5Crests is an Expandable Trading Card Game that takes place in an alternate Earth’s history; an ore classified under the name Villium was discovered in 1913 by a local miner in Detroit. Through continual mining and refinement, Villium becomes as ubiquitous as oil or coal, and its’ many uses (Fuel, Medicinal, Mechanics) have caused a power struggle between the government, private industry and the criminal element. Players take on the role of a street-level “Capo” or Captain, and through play join one of the 5 Guilds.
The Five Different Crests
Dock workers, Railway men, Iron Factory workers, Heavy industry. The first guild created after the Vallentino Uprising.
Believing the old mob family ways are still the best ways, Triggers shun the use of Villium and still rely heavily on tommy guns, shotguns, drive-bys, contract hits and bombs.
Created after the death of Marisol Linetti. This is a guild built through wealth, Villium and the blade.
The final guild allowed by the first family. These are the wandering, the fringe of society, A group of people possessed with their transformation through pure uncut Villium. After choosing your guild a player will fight against other players in single or two on two combat, with the immediate goal being to show dominance over the other guilds.
Called to the faith from all walks of life. Taking the vow means giving up any material artifact, shaving one's hair and disowning one's name. They are the faceless void against the sins and treachery of man.
